Ms. Cathy Supernaw, engagement partner for KPMG, LLP, presented the county’s
FY2007 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report to the Board.
Amended 2007 Holiday Schedule to add December 31, 2007, as a holiday for
county employees.
RESOLUTION
Adopted Resolution recognizing Career Officer Milton Lee Pulley, Police
Department, upon his retirement.
DEFERRED ITEMS

Approved Transfer of District Improvement Funds from the Dale District
Improvement Fund to the Chesterfield County Police Department to
purchase a license plate scanner.
Approved Transfer of District Improvement Funds from the Bermuda District
Improvement Fund to the Parks and Recreation Department to make
improvements to the softball field at Thomas Dale High School.
Approved Transfer of District Improvement Funds from the Dale, Matoaca, Clover
Hill, Midlothian and Bermuda District Improvement Funds to the county
Police Department to support the TRIAD Program.
Approved Transfer of District Improvement Funds from the Matoaca District
Improvement Fund to the Parks and Recreation Department to purchase
and install bleachers at the Matoaca Park Football Field.

CITIZEN COMMENT PERIOD ON UNSCHEDULED MATTERS
Mr. Bob Schrum commended County Administration and the Board of Supervisors for their
efforts in allowing open dialog. He encouraged the Board to allow public comment at the
beginning of their meetings, rather than at the end.
Ms. Sam Kauffman suggested that the Board allow public comment at beginning of meetings.
Mr. George Beadles suggested that outgoing Supervisors mentor to others in the community to
develop leadership within the county.

relating to transportation impact fees to fund and recapture the cost of
providing reasonable road improvements.
