Dear Mr. Burnett:
Mr. Lynn Hamilton has requested me to seek a continuance in the
above-mentioned matters to the Board meeting to be held on
January 8, 1969, at 2:30 p. m.
As you know, the people in the community who are concerned by the
aforementioned applications are very interested in the conditions
set forth by the Board to govern the use permits requested. We are
of the opinion that the applicants and the people may be able to agree
to certain conditions; however, it would be impossible to prepare
an agreement to be presented to the Board on December 11. Therefore,
I took the liberty of talking to Mrs. Partin of the County Planners'
Office this morning. Mrs. Thrtin advises that she will notify the
interested parties of the request for continuance to avoid unnecessary
attendance at the meeting on December 11.
It would seem that the additional time could easily result in the Board
having to spend a great deal less time and the preservation of harmony.
I will appear on December 11 to make the motion before the Board.
