Admin. <br /> <br />VIRGINIA: At an adjourned meeting <br />of the Board of Supervisors of Chester- <br />field County, held at the Courthouse <br />on Janaury 26, 1976, at 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Lee Falwell~ Asst. Co, Admin. <br />Mr, C, G. Manuel, Asst, Co. Admin, <br />Mr. James Condrey, Dir. of Central Actg <br />Mr~ Lane Ramsey, Asst. Dir. of Central <br /> Accounting <br /> <br />Mr. Michael Ritz, Director of Planning, reviews the Planning budget. <br /> <br />Col. Joseph Pittman, Chief of Police, explains the Police budget and states that, <br />if at all possible, he would like to see the pay scale increased 10%. His 'budget <br />calls for the increase in personnel of 25 sworn officers. <br /> <br />Chief Robert Eanes, Chief of the Fire Department, explains the various fire bud- <br />gets and suggests that an additional 5% be added to the pay scale since the cost <br />of living has increased more than the County's pay scale, <br /> <br />Mr. James Falconer, County Assessor, explains the Assessing budget and procedures <br />of assessing, <br /> <br />Mr. Carl Wise, Director of Recreation, reviews the proposed planning budget and <br />it is generally agreed that the Administration seek to revise some of the capital <br />expenditures proposed. <br /> <br />Mr. Michael Woodfin, Director of General Services, explains the various budgets <br />within his control and, particularly, the increase in capital outlay with regards <br />to the purchasing of equipment, <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Bookman, seconded by Mr, Apperson, it is resolved that this <br />Board adjourns at 11:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. on January 28, 1976. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. O'Neill, Mr. Apperson, Mr. Bookman and Mr, Myers. <br /> <br />Merlin- O'Neill, Chai'rmKn ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
