<br />The meeting is called to order by the Vice-Chairman.
<br />
<br />Mr. Apperson introduces the Rev. Charles Johnson, Rector of St. Barnabus Episcopal
<br />Church, who gives the invocation.
<br />
<br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mrs. Girone, it is resolved that the minute
<br />o.f February 9th, llth and 18th be and they hereby are approved.
<br />
<br />Ayes: Mr. O'Neill, Mrs. Girone, Mr. Apperson, Mr. Bookman and Mr. Myers.

<br />Mrs. Girone presents a delegation of ~ight people who wish to support the request
<br />for the design of sewers in the Crestwood area. She reminds the Board that at a
<br />previous meeting a shorter route had been suggested, however, after investigation
<br />it is ascertained that by taking the shorter route some people who are having
<br />problems will not get sewer service but she feels it would be wise to proceed with
<br />the design of the shorter route which would also include the Shadycrest area. Mr.
<br />Bookman supports Mrs. Girone and states further that he would like to have bids
<br />received on the Crestwood project as well as a small portion of the Pocoshock-
<br />Surreywood area. Mr. Apperson inquires where the funds will come from for these
<br />projects. Mrs. Girone states that estimates are coming in much lower than anti-
<br />cipated for some projects. Whereupon Mr. Apperson points out that these are not
<br />guaranteed bids.

<br />Mrs. Ancell, representing her daughter Mrs. Cook, states that she would like the
<br />line routed a different way so that this property will not be destroyed and adds
<br />th%t her daughter had not been consulted regarding this sewer line. Mr. Roy Daves
<br />states that he feels an absentee landlord's opposition should not be considered
<br />too much. Upon consideration of this matter, it is on motion of Mr. Bookman,
<br />seconded by Mr. Myers, resolved that the Engineering Department proceed with the
<br />engineering and design of the two routes in the Crestwood Farms area and the
<br />Pocoshock-Surreywood area.

<br />On. motion of Mr. Myers, seconded by Mr. Bookman, it is resolved that the following
<br />Water Contracts be and they hereby are approved:

<br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that G. L. Howard
<br />Inc. who submitted the low bid of $10,282.50, be and it hereby is awarded Water
<br />Contract ~76-5C, Fire Hydrants at Crestwood Elementary, Chester Intermediate and
<br />Meadowbrook High School.
