<br />On motion of Mr, Apperson~ seconded by Mr, Myers, it is resolved that the.fol-
<br />lowing resolution be and it hereby is adopted:
<br />
<br /> Whereas, Chesterfiel'd County on August 4, 1971~ granted to Consolidated
<br />Sales Company a use permit numbered 71~21A for the construction of townhouse
<br />apartments on a 28-acre parcel, more or less~ located near the intersection of
<br />Huguenot and Robious Roads behind Huguenot Village Shopping Center, and
<br />
<br />Whereas, said.use permit calls for additional access from the apartment
<br />project to Robious Road at the northeast corner of the proposed shopping center
<br />(there already being another road for ingress and egress located near the south-
<br />western corner of subject parcel for access to Huguenot Road), and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, the Virginia Department of Highways has indicated that it intends
<br />to terminate said access to Robious Road due to the comtemplated relocation of
<br />Route 147 (Huguenot Road).
<br />
<br /> Now, therefore, be it resolved and agreed that should the Department of
<br />Highways terminate the additional access which provides ingress egress to Robious
<br />Road, such termination will not affect the continued conformity with the afore-
<br />said use permit provided that there is compliance with all other conditions con-
<br />tained in said permit, namely
<br />
<br /> 1. The developer providing an accurate account (existing and future develop-
<br />ment) of the drainage situation for the area and submitting a plan for on and off
<br />site drainage control, showing the method and facilities to be utilized in the
<br />hydraulic engineering of this project. Further, that these plans be approved by
<br />the County Engineering Department and implemented by the developer prior to oc-
<br />cupancy.
<br />
<br /> 2. Utility plans be submitted to and approved by the County Engineering
<br />Department.
<br />
<br /> 3. A request that the property be rezoned to Residential (R-2) prior to
<br />the issuance of a building permit.
<br />
<br /> 4. A perimeter yard of 35 feet surround the development.
<br />
<br /> S. Parking spaces be provided at a ratio of 1.8 spaces per dwelling unit
<br />and that this include a centrally located storage area for boats, trucks, campers,
<br />travel and utility trailers.
<br />
<br /> 6. A minimum 30 feet pavement width being provided on all streets and
<br />driveways.
<br />
<br />7. Parking spaces being 10 ft. x 20 ft.
<br />
<br /> 8. Site plans, landscaping plans and layouts be submitted to and approved
<br />by the Planning Department.
<br />
<br />Ayes: Mr. Homer, Mr. Myers and Mr. Apperson.
<br />
<br />On motion of Mr. Horner, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that the agree-
<br />ment to vacate an easement granted to the County by Henry T. Smith an~ substitute
<br />therefore an additional easement nort'h of Claypoint Road in Clover Hill District
<br />be and'it hereby is apprQved.

<br />Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr. Myers and Mr. Apperson.
<br />
<br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that the bid
<br />for two floor machines and two vacuum sweepers with equipment be and it hereby
<br />is awarded to Lawrence Sanitary Company, Inc. who submitted the bid of $1,570.50
<br />after it was cited by the School Board that all other bidders did not meet the
<br />specifications.
