County Admin. <br />Mr. Morris Mason~ County Attorney <br />Mr. Robert Painter, Co, Engineer <br />Mr. Willis Pope, Right-of-Way Engineer <br />Mr. Douglas Pritchard, Engineer I <br />Mr. Michael Rtiz~ Planning Director <br />Ms. Joan Smith, Secretary <br /> <br />Mr. Apperson gives the invocation. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr, Myers, it is resolved that the minutes <br />of November 12th, 17th and 19th be and they hereby are approved. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Homer, Mr. Myers and Mr. Apperson. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Myers, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, it is resolved that the County <br />vacate an easement and accept .another to replace same for Day Realty at the Walthall <br />Interchange, a copy of which transfer is recorded with the Board's papers. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Homer, Mr. Myers and Mr. O'Neill. <br /> <br />Mr. Horner introduces four students from the Urban Public Policy Making Class at <br />Virginia Commonwealth University. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Myers, seconded by Mr, O'Neill, it is resolved that the County <br />Engineering Department be and it hereby is authorized to accept the lowest re- <br />sponible bid for the construction of overflow piping on the Elkhardt tanks. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Homer, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr O'Neill <br /> <br />i On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that since the <br />'~ State is revoking the pres. t certificate number 1W36 that the County agrees to <br />· the revocation and accepts a permit in place thereof and that further the Chair- <br />i~ man be and he hereby is authorized to sign an instrument accomplishing same. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Homer, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O'Neill. <br /> <br />After some discussion of the matter, it is on motion of Mr. O'Neill, seconded by <br />Mr.. Myers, resolved that the County proceed with the implementation of the recom- <br />mendations to improve the Matoaca Water System which report was made by R. Stuart <br />Royer and Associates dated September, 1975. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Homer, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O'Neill. <br /> <br />il~There is some discussion concerning the sewer installation on Sheringhma Drive, <br /> Contract S74-39T. It is generally ag~reed that this matter be deferred and added <br /> to the list of potential projects. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Myers, seconded by-Mr. O'Neill, it is resolved that an extension <br />of time to January 16, 1976, for English Construction Company for Contract S73-25T, <br />Ashton Creek Pump Station, be and it hereby is approved since there will be no <br />loss of revenue to the County. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O'Neill. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Horner, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that T & E Construc- <br />tion Company, Inc. be and it is hereby granted an extension of time for Contract <br />7032-11A, Miller's Run, since there will be no loss of revenue to the County. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Homer, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O~Neill, <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that Richard L. <br />Crowder Construction, Inc. be given an extension of time until December 10, 1975, <br />for Contract S74-37T, Halloway Sewer, since there will be no loss of revenue to <br />the County. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr, Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr, O'Neill. <br /> <br /> <br />
