Co, Eng. <br />Mr. B. E. Woodruff, Ettrick Sanitary Committee <br /> <br />The meeting is called to order to discuss the utility situation in the Sanitary <br />District of Ettrick. Mr. Welchons presents estimates to repair the sewer system <br />which will cost up to $1,300,000. Mr. Birdsong presents an estimate of necessary <br />repairs to the water system which would cost $245,000. Mr. Quaiff reviews the <br />current charges versus revenue should the rates be raised to equal County rates <br />and it was cited that after payment to Petersburg of the new rate for the treat- <br />ment of sewage at a secondary level, that little money would be left to make <br />necessary improvements. <br /> <br />The Ettrick Sanitary Committee discusses the matter and asks the Board to raise <br />the rates of the Sanitary District to equal those rates of the County, both in <br />monthly charges and connection charges, <br /> <br />Upon consideration whereof, it is on motion of Mr. O~'Neill, seconded by Mr. <br />Apperson, resolved that at the request of the Sanitary District Committee this <br />Board asks Mr. Morris Mason to prepare a suitable ordinance to raise all utility <br />charges for the Ettrick Sanitary District to equal those of the general County. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Horner, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O'Neill, <br /> <br />The Board sets December 18, 1975, at 3:00 p.m. to meet as a committee to discuss <br />the GRTC matter. <br /> <br />It is generally agreed that the Personnel Committee would meet on December 9, <br />1975, at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />It is agreed that the Mental Health Committee would meet on December 18 1975 <br />at 2:00 p.m. ' <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr, Myers, it is resolved that the Middle <br />Distrzct Baptist Association be allowed to use the Courthouse Green and the old <br />Courthouse Building on Sunday~ June 27, 1976, for the purpose of a memorial <br />service to the seven imprisoned Baptist ministers held in the Chesterfield Jail <br />in the 1770's. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Hornet, Mr. Myers and Mr. Apperson? <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr, Myers, it is resolved that this Board <br />adjourns at 10:30 p.m. to December 10, 1975, at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Hornet, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O'Neill. <br /> <br />(~in~G 2' Homer, ~F~i~rman <br /> <br /> <br />
