VIRGINIA: At an adjourned meeting of the <br />Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County, <br />held au the Courthouse on March 25, 1974, <br />au 5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Mr. Irvin G. County Admin. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that this <br />Board of Supervisors requests the Social Services Department to operate and <br />maintain the Food Stamp Program as of July 1, 1974, if this Program is forced <br />upon us, against our will, on said date. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. Krepela. <br />Mr. Homer a-bstains from voting. <br /> <br />There was read a letter from the Lawson Company indicating that it would move <br />from the County and That a triple A-1 Company would move in on August 1, 1974. <br /> <br />Theke was read a request from the Chesterfield Fire Department concerning <br />additional paid firemen. It was generally agreed that this matter be referred <br />to the Fire Committee for consideration. <br /> <br />Further consideration was given to the County budget and by agreement the <br />meeting is adjourned at 7:30 P.M. to 10:00 A.M. on March 27, 1974. <br /> <br />~ M.~W.
