VIRGINIA: At an adjourned meeting of the <br />Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield <br />County, held at the Courthouse on April 3, <br />1974, au 5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Present: Also Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Irvin G. Morner, ChairmAn <br />Mr. Leo Myers, Vice-Chairman <br />Mr. J. Ruffin Ap~erson <br />Mr. E. Merlin O'Neill <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. A. J. Krepela <br /> <br />Mr.M.W. Burnett, County Administrator <br /> C. G. Manuel, Asst. County Administrat, <br /> James R. Condrey, Dir., Central Acctg. <br /> <br />The Board met with Mrs. Knoop and the Library Board and discussed the budget and <br />the location of the .Library Building. at the Courthouse. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. Myers, it is resolved that this Board <br />go into Executive Session To discuss personnel mac, ers. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Hornet, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O'Neill. <br /> <br />Reconvening: <br /> <br />The Board discussed with Mr. Carl Wise the budget of the Recreation Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Myers, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, it is resolved that the <br />following resolution be adopted: <br /> <br /> This day the County Road Engineer, in accordance with directions <br />from this Board, made report in writing upon his examination of Omaha <br />Street in Crescent Park in Bermuda Magisterial Ristrict. <br /> Upon consideration whereof, and on motion of Mr. Myers, it is <br />resolved that Omaha Street in Crescent Park in Bermu-da Magisterial District <br />be and it is established as a public road. <br /> And be if further resolved, That the Virginia Department of Highways <br />be and it hereby is requested ~o take into the Seconda. ry System, Omaha Street <br />as a rural addition beginning at its intersection with State Route 1623 east- <br />erly and southerly 0.12 mile to a dead end. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this subdivision was <br />developed prior to November 15, 1959., and the County of Chesterfield has met <br />all the provisions of Section 33-141, Subsequent sections of the 1950 Code, as <br />amended, effective July l, 1974. <br /> AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors guarantees to <br />the Virginia Department of Highways a 50-ft. right-of=way for this road. <br />Recorded in Plat Book 4, pages ll0 and ltl~ dated 1928. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Hornet, Mr. Myers, Mr. Apperson and Mr. O'Neill <br /> <br />The Board considered various parms of the County Budget. <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Apperson, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, it is resolved that this <br />Board adjourn at 10:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
