On motion of Mr. Driskill, seconded by Mr.Britton, it is resolved that this Board go into ExecutiveSession. Reconvening: On motion of Mr.Britton, seconded by Mr. Goyne, it is resolved that pursuant to Section 6-10(S) of the Water Bond Resolution the Trustee is authorized to invest all funds in the Bond Reserve Fund in direct obligations ofthe United States of America ~elected by the Treasurer of Chesterfield County. The Treasurer of the County is authaized as Agent of this Board to request the Turstee to make such investments from time to time as funds are available and ~pprove the investments on behalf of the County. The Treasurer shall notify the Board of action taken pursuant to this resolution which renort shall be brought before the Board for informational purposes. This day the entire Board met with Mr. James Goodwyn and Mr. Clarence Wilson as to the development of the County owned land adjacent toMr. Goodwyn's store at the Court House. It was cited that in the plans for the County, this area was proposed to be graded and seeded. Mr.Goodwyn cites the fact that this land had been used as a parking lot for a number of years and requests same to be continued in the operation of his store at the Court House. Upon consideration whereof, Mr. Hague makes the following ~tion, which is seconded by Mr. Goyne: Be it Resolved, that the County have installed a 6-inch curbs to protect the Sxistinz brick walk tO signify the end of the proposed ~rarkin~ area and have the proposed parking area hard-surfaced and charge · Goodwyn with one-half the cost of said hard-surfacing.
