Secfy. <br /> <br />Absent: Mr. J.Ruffin Apperson <br /> <br />The Trailer Ordinance having been advertised for June 23, 1966 and <br />deferred to this date was again discussed. Upon consideration <br />whereof and on motion of hr. Martin, seconded by Mr.Browning, it is <br />resolved that the following OrdiLance be and it hereby is adopted: <br /> <br />AN ORDINaNCE to amend the Code of the County of Chesterfield; <br />Virginia, by adding a new section thereof to be known as Section 17-9-T, <br />to provide for, the parking of travel, utility and boat trailers as an <br />accessory use in all districts under certain conditions. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of <br />Chesterfield, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That The Code of the County of Chesterfield, Virginia, be <br />amended by adding a new section to be known as Section 17-9-T, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 17-9-T. Travel, utility and boat trailers. <br /> <br />For the purposes of this section the following words shall have <br />the meanings ascribed to them as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Travel Trailer. A travel trailer is a vehicular, portable <br />structure built on a chassis and designed to be used as a temporary, <br />dwelling for travel, recreational and vacation uses, with an overall <br />length, including hitch, of not more than twenty~ feet. <br />-Fout' <br />(b) Utility Trailer. A utility trailer is a vehicular structure <br />built on a chassis and designed to be used by the individual for <br />personal hauling, ~dth an overall length, including hitch, of not <br />more than twelve feet. <br /> <br />(c) Boat T~ler. A boat trailer is a vehicular structure <br />built on a chassis and-designed for transporting boats, with an <br />overall length, including hitch, of not more than twenty _ feet. <br />One <br /> <br />'" <br />
