That the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield Countywill on
November 11, 1958, at 2:30p.m., at its meeting room at Chesterfield
Court House, Virginia, take under consideration the rezoning and/or,
granting of a Use Permit on the following described parcels of land:
1. In Bermuda Magisterial District, a parcel of land fronting
193 feet on Bermuda Avenue and extending 200 feet .
southwardly, HI aid parcel being lots 3 and 4, Block K,
of Chesterfiele Manor Subdivision, on Which a Use Permit
is requested to operate a Beauty Shop by Mrs. Legrant Collins.
2. In Midlothian Magisterial District, a parcel of land
fronting 109 feet on Rt.60 and extending southwardly
300 feet, said parcel being 4500 feet east ofRt.653,
which is requested tobe rezoned from Agriculture to
General Business on application of Mr. Karl Reidelbach.
3. In Manchester Magisterial District, a parcel of land
fronting 477 feet on Jahnke Road and extending 1200 feet
northwardly, .. said pa reel being 760 feet west of
l:!estover Gardens Boulevard, which is proposed to be
rezoned from Agriculture to Residential-2 on application

WHEREAS. the building used as a School Board Office in Chesterfield County,
Virginia. since the office was first located at the Courthouse now serves a
school pupil enrollme nt of more than 13,000, and
WHEREAS, said office space has reached a point of saturation, and
WHEREAS, there is a dire need for enlargement,
THEREFORE. be it resolved that the School Board of Chesterfield County,
Virginia. requests the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County to provide
"according to the manner of law" adequate and livable space to be used for
School Board purposes in order that the business of the office may be
facilitated, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that. since audio-visual education is here to
stay in America's schools. we request that special attention be given con-
cerning installation of outlets for telephones and business machines for
further developments',
