Engineer <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Dietsch, seconded by Mr. Martin, it is resolved that <br />the minutes of April 9, 1969 be and the same are hereby approved. <br /> <br />The. Ordinance for the removal of inoperative automobiles was proposed <br />for adoption at this time. After some discussion, Mr. Apperson moves <br />that the Ordinance be deferred until the new Zoning Ordinance is adopted, <br />which motion was seconded by Mr. Purdy. A vote on this motion showed <br />that Mr. Apperson and Mr. Purdy vote Aye and Mr. Dietsch, Mr. Martin, <br />and Mr., Browning vote Nay. <br />After further discussion, and on motion of Mr. Dietsch, seconded by- <br />Mr. Browning, it is resolved that the following ordinance be and it <br />hereby is adopted: <br /> <br />An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 3, Article III of the <br />Chesterfield County Code by adding thereto Section 3-20 <br />providing for removal of inoperative automobiles on <br />residential propertyo <br /> <br />SEC. 3-20 REMOVAL O~PERATIVE AUTOMOBILES FROM RESIDENTIAL <br />PROPERTY. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to <br />keep any automobile or automobiles on any property within <br />the County zoned for residential purposes whose condition <br />is such that it is economically impractical to make them <br />operative, except when kept within a fully enclosed building <br />or structure. <br /> <br />It is here noted that Mr. Apperson votes Nay and Mr. Purdy abstains <br />from voting. <br /> <br />Mr. W. P. Williams, comes before the Board presenting a petition <br />signed by a group of people in the area of Genito Road and Rt.360 <br />requesting help from the Board of Supervisors in soliciting a survey <br />of this general area for the establishment of a Postoffice. <br />Mr. Williams cites the current need for such a facility in the <br />expanding area which would greatly expand this need in a few years,~ <br />Upon consideration whereof, and on motion of Mr. Martin, seconded by <br />Mr. Dietsch, it is resolved that since the citizens of the area have <br /> <br />,..; <br />
